The Rock, Kurt Angle/UFC, Hulk Hogan & More
Tags: WWE, The Rock, Hulk Hogan
Over at WWE.com features an article on Lita and Edge going to Mexico this week. The article brings up that Lita trained down there in the 1990s. Edge and Lita went to a show at El Coliseo while they were there and wore lucha masks to the show so they were no noticed. The article also features photos of other WWE wrestlers in Mexico for this weekend's tour.
Hulk Hogan has been featured in the news as of late as he is now lobbying the U. S. House of Representatives to toughen laws governing dog and cock fighting.
UFC’s Dana White was recently on Howard Stern 101 on Sirius, a guest on the Scott Ferrall show, and was taking calls. Kurt Angle was mentioned and Dana responded to the question of Kurt joining UFC by saying, "Kurt has always wanted to fight UFC, he is ready for REAL FIGHTING!" The caller also asked if he was worried about Angle’s drug problem and why he left WWE. Dana responded saying that he wasn’t sure why he left WWE and said that he thinks he was physically beat up but really was ready for "Real fighting" now.
Reuters has a Q and A with The Rock where he talks about his love for gaming.

The Rock's Movie, Scott Hall/WWE, Unforgiven, Don Vito
Tags: the rock, scott hall
Don Vito from MTV's 'Viva La Bam' will be at the Pro Wrestling Unplugged show tomorrow night at the old ECW Arena.
Unforgiven at the Air Canada Center in Toronto is sold out with 14,600 tickets.
If WWE does not pick up the NWO vs. DX storyline, it is likely that Scott Hall won’t go to WWE at all as he feels nothing else would be worth the hectic travel schedule. He is open to going back to TNA, as he lives near Universal Studios which cuts back on traveling and the work schedule is much lighter. As previously reported, Scott Hall has been training to get back into the ring for a while now.
After weeks of promotion, The Rock's new movie Gridiron Gang opened yesterday to mostly mixed reviews from critics. However The Rock's performance itself has gotten positive reviews for the most part.
Trish Stratus Talks About Her Fiancee, Marriage and Honeymoon Plans
Tags: Trish Stratus
For the first time ever, Trish Stratus has publicly talked about her relationship status and upcoming marriage.
Trish Stratus appeared on the Canadian version of Entertainment Tonight yesterday, ET Canada. ET Canada was on the scene for a photo shoot she was doing for a bridal magazine. Trish actually wore the dress she was getting married in on the set. Trish's wedding gown is a strapless white wedding gown with a big brown bow on the back.
Trish told ET Canada co-host Rick Campanelli that she was marrying her high school sweetheart, Ron, and that they recently celebrated their 14th anniversary together. Trish said that it was Ron who wanted to keep their relationship a secret, which is why she never disclosed her relationship status all these years. In a voice-over, Campanelli said that Trish was getting married on September 29th, although its been said that the actual date is Saturday, September 30th, so that might have been a mistake on his part.
As far as honeymoon plans are concerned, Trish said that she and Ron will be honeymooning in Greece. After that, it's off to London and back to Toronto.
Trish also said that she is retiring because of not only the wedding, but because of the injuries she's accumulated in wrestling throughout the years as well.

Vince McMahon Says WWE.com "Sucks"
Tags: WWE
At a WWE shareholders meeting held earlier today, Vince McMahon said that WWE.com "sucks." At the meeting, a shareholder was praising the website for its frequently updated content. McMahon thanked the shareholder for his comments, but he then said that the site "sucks." He then said, "Our people know it sucks." McMahon just left it at that. Click here to see a video of their unusual exchange.
WWE.com editor Michael Cole decided to respond McMahon's comments on the website. Apparently, they'll be offering some sort of subscription service starting in October that will feature exclusive photos and videos. There will soon also be some new web-only shows. Here is Cole's rebuttal:
This site sucks
By Michael Cole
Thursday morning in Stamford, Conn., Vince McMahon told shareholders that he believes WWE.com "sucks." WWE.com Managing Editor Michael Cole responds:
Vince McMahon is right, the web site does suck (watch the video).
But we've got big plans for WWE.com and they’re coming soon. A new broadband network with original web-only shows scheduled for October. We have a new mobile offering right around the corner, a re-vamped subscription site and more exclusive videos and photos than ever before. So in summary, the web site does suck, compared to where we are going to take it, but it won’t suck for long. Wish I could say the same for the boss.
TNA Site Hacked, Sean Waltman Backstage, A-1 Sick
The official TNA website was hacked late last night. The damage was minimal as phrases such as "WWE owns TNA" were plastered all over the site, and that was basically it. TNA shut down the site in the morning to fix everything and get things back in order. Everything seems to be fine now as the site is back up and running.
Sean Waltman was backstage visiting friends at the 9/4 Impact tapings.
A-1 missed the 9/4 Impact tapings due to food poisoning.

The Great Khali Suspended, WWE in Spain, SmackDown Rating Plunges
The Great Khali has been suspended from his job in India as an assistant sub-inspector with Punjab Armed Police (PAP), according to IndiaENews.com. Of course this is because he hasn’t reported to work because he’s been working for WWE, but there’s no way you can’t find this humorous.
WWE will be running live events in Spain on December 6th and December 7th.
SmackDown finally felt the plunge in ratings due to many Fox-owned stations dropping UPN as last week’s show did just a 1.9 cable rating, with a 3.0 share. Expect to continue to see lower numbers until the CW Network’s debut.
